DRAWING INSPIRATION FROM LOCAL PRODUCERS TO CREATE A MONTHLY MENU WHERE THE PRINCIPAL INGREDIENTS ARE SOURCED FROM WITHIN A 75 MILE RADIUS

Clocktower Food Heroes aims to increase awareness of food provenance and specifically, to highlight Rudding Park’s ongoing commitment to using the freshest produce from local suppliers. The multi-faceted campaign comprises of; a dedicated Yorkshire menu, a staff training programme, seasonal producer profiles and monthly recipes.

The monthly Clocktower Food Hero menu features principle ingredients sourced in Yorkshire within a 75 mile radius of Rudding Park. The food miles from the Food Hero to Rudding Park are annotated on the menu accordingly.

To train our staff, each Clocktower Food Hero visits Rudding Park and presents their product to the Food and Beverage team, thus ensuring an in-depth knowledge of the menu and its ingredients that can be passed onto the consumer.

Drawing inspiration from these local producers, Clocktower’s Chefs create a three course menu which costs just £31. This menu offers a choice of six starters, main courses and puddings, and features ingredients sourced in Yorkshire within a 75 mile radius of Rudding Park.

Music at Clocktower – Free Pimms!
